Quick Tip – See how a stranger views your Facebook Timeline

by Marianne (Mel) Rom on Thursday 29 March, 2012

If you haven’t seen the new Timeline yet, don’t worry, it will be forced upon you shortly.  Personally, I love it but some don’t.   I recently wrote a post showing how you can get the new Timeline early which may be of some assistance.  Okay, so if you would like to see how someone else views your Timeline there are a few simple steps to follow.

Step 1 - Click on the down arrow to bring up the option of who to view as which gives you the option of typing in a Facebook friend’s name

Step 2 – Click on “View As”

Step 3 – Type in the name of a Facebook friend (in this case it’s me, Mel Rom)

Step 4 – This view now shows how Mel views Rhay’s Timeline.  When you wish to go back to your Timeline, click “Back to Timeline”

The new Timeline may look a little daunting to first time viewers but there are loads of settings that you can tweak to make it right for you. We have many tips and tricks to share with you. Please feel free to comment below and let us know how you go. If you need further assistance give us a call and we’ll discuss how we can help.
As always, Tweet With Respect!
